Abstract:
This sketchbook contains 43 pages of undated pencil sketches by Philadelphia artist Newbold Hough Trotter. Most of the illustrations are of animals, ranging from domestic cats and dogs to lions and tigers. Mr. Trotter made his illustrations in what had previously been the account book of John Sunnocks of Philadelphia, 1792-1801 (36 pages).
