Samson Adams papers 1767-1794
Marcia Lorraine Billings was born in the mid-1860s, the daughter of George Billings (b. 1836) and Gertrude Jenks (d. 1918) of Denver, Colorado; her siblings were Wirt and Anna. She spent her childhood and early twenties in Denver; in Owego and Apalachin, New York; and in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Billings married grocery owner Benjamin P. Thomas around 1895, and they lived in Central City, Colorado.
