History

Biography:

Harold H. Wilcox was born on April 3, 1903 to George H. and Edna Terry Wilcox of Missaukee County, Michigan. He married his wife, Isabel, on November 26, 1925 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

After graduating from Central Michigan Teachers College (now Central Michigan University) (date unknown), he worked as supervisor of the Osceola School District, 1931-1951. He was a professor of education, 1951-1967, and Assistant Director of the Department of Special Studies, part of the Division of Field Services, 1957-1964, at Central Michigan College later Central Michigan University.

Harold died on March 13, 1990. His wife preceded him in death in April 1987, as did his brother, George, in 1986. He was survived by his daughter, Mrs. Gary (Alice) Baillargeon; grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Norabelle Willard.
