The collection includes biographical materials, images of Rogers City and Belknap, Michigan, churches, a house in Presque Isle County, Michigan, and plumbing forms from World War II.

Biography:

Gerald Micketti attended Western Michigan University. He eventually became a Catholic Priest. He is currently the Pastor at St. Patrick’s Church in Traverse City, Michigan.

Micketti has authored four pamphlets about Michigan history, copies of which are in the Clarke Historical Library. He has also donated several collections to the Clarke including this one with his grandfather’s business records and letters of his cousin, Jim Mulka, from Vietnam.

Walter Zgorski was Micketti’s grandfather. He was born in Posen, Michigan, on September 16, 1893. He lived most of his life and worked as a Master Plumber in Rogers City, Michigan. He died in July of 1974. (This information is from the collection.)
