Organizational History:

The Isabella Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) was founded in 1912 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Among its various programs has been an Adopted Indian Daughter Program, helping save the Isabella County Courthouse copula, Michigan Ancestry Records, and the Pioneer Ancestors of Michigan, Albion to Lansing and Ludington to Three Rivers. The DAR Isabella Chapter continues to meet and function. (This information is from the collection.)
