- Palaeographic Description
- Hand is similar to Stegemann, Taf. 9, col. 6; BM Or. 6050 of ca. 650. Date and notary's signature are in Greek cursive.

- Damianos, son of Kosmas, of an unidentified place, Pagi, in the Fayoum, makes a written acknowledgment to Shenouti, son of Elias, of Fayoum City, that he has received of the latter a half solidus, which the latter has borrowed from a third party, and promises to repay it on a given date.

- "In the name of God. First: I am Damianos, son of Kosmas, of Pagi of Pyam. I have written for Shenouti, son of Elias of Pyam City. See, I urged (?) you. You promised in my behalf (?). You got a half solidus for me on loan. I spent it for corn for my children. I am ready to satisfy you in regard to it by the 1st of Parmouti. For you have done me a kindness, and have heeded the cry of my children. I shall return it to its place, with my thanks, without disagreement. Written the month of Choiak 6th, 13th, of the indiction. I, Apater, the leitourgos of Pagi, I am witness. I, Papa Ale, I am witness. By me, Paul, son of Theod."
