- Registered Mecheir 24, a loan of Horion to Herakleides and his mother of 760 drachmai.
- The twelfth year of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Imperator, the 24th of the month Xandikos, Mecheir 24, in Tebtynis in the division of Polemon of the Arsinoite nome.
- Horion, son of Kronion, about 30 years old, with a scar in the middle of his forehead, has loaned to Herakleides, son of Ischyrion also called Nestnephis, a Persian of the epigone, about 25 years old, with a scar on the first finger of his left hand, and to his mother Thaubarion, daughter of Petemounis, a Persian woman, about 50 years old, with a car on her right thumb, acting under the guardianship of Herakleides himself, the two of them mutual sureties for recovery, 760 drachmai of coined silver money as a capital sum, which they have taken from him in cash, from hand to hand, out of the house, with interest at the rate of one drachme per mina each month. And let the borrowers repay this loan, the seven hundred and sixty drachmai of silver and the interest, to Horion in the month Tybi of the coming thirteenth year of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Imperator, and if they shall not restore it as is written, let the borrowers pay to Horion at once the loan and half as much again, and the interest without increase, the right of execution resting with Horion or his assigns against these borrowers and all their property as if in accordance with a judgment. And Horion is to suffer no diminution of rights in respect to what the debtors owe him according to a contract of mortgage on the catoecic allotment of 3 3/4 arourai belonging to Herakleides near Theogonis in the amount of 1,000 drachmai and the interest; and the said mortgage shall remain in force and the borrowers shall not redeem it unless they have first repaid the aforesaid sum and the interest.
- Signatory, Sarapion, son of Ptolemaios, about 40 years old, with a scar on his neck on the left side.
- (2nd hand) I, Herakleides, son of Ischyrion also called Nestnephis, a Persian of the epigone, and my mother Thaubarion, daughter of Petemounis, a Persian woman, acting under my guardianship, the two of us being mutual sureties for recovery, have borrowed from Horion, the son of Kronion, the 760 drachmai in silver as a capital sum with interest at the rate of one drachme per mina each month, which we shall repay in the month Tybi of the coming thirteenth year of Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus Imperator, Horion suffering no diminution of rights in respect to what we owe him according to a contract of mortgage on the catoecic allotment of three and three-quarters arourai belonging to me, Herakleides, near Theogonis in the amount of a capital sum of one thousand drachmai in silver and the interest, and this we shall not redeem unless we have first repaid the aforesaid capital sum and the interest as aforesaid.
- Sarapion, son of Ptolemaios, wrote for them since they are illiterate.
- (3rd hand) I, Horion, son of Kronion, have made the loan as aforesaid, and my rights are in no way diminished in respect to what they owe me according to a mortgage on three and three-quarters arourai in the amount of one thousand drachmai in silver and the interest as aforesaid.
