Day by day register of abstracts of the contracts recorded at the record-office (grapheion) of Tebtynis during the four last months of the 2nd year of the Emperor Claudius. - Col. III, abstract 9 records a receipt, registered on May 20, 42 A.D., for the payment of 60 silver drachmai, due under a contract previously executed throught this grapheion (see also Verso, col. III, 3)

Translation
Kronion, son of Damas, about 40 years old, with a scar in the middle of his forehead, acknowledges to Orsenouphis, son of Chales also called Psenobastis, about 38 years old, with a scar on the little finger of his left hand, that he has received from him in cash 60 silver drachmai, which Orsenouphis owed Kronion according to a contract for lodging executed through the grapheion.
Signatories: Peter(--), son of Tyrannos, about 40 years old, with a scar on the right forearm, and for the other party Ptolemaios, son of Chairemon, about 72 years old, with a scar above the left elbow.
