Pnepheros, [about] thirty-five years old, with a scar on the under side of his left forearm, and Psenobastis, about [thirty-three] years old, [with a scar on his right forearm, both sons of Satabous, acknowledge to each other that they have divided between themselves from the present time forever the cultivation of the nine and one-half and one-eighth and one-sixteenth and one-sixty-fourth [arourai of royal land] which they cultivate near Patsontis and the two and one-half arourai [of the Anthian estate] which they are farming. Pnepheros has received as his allotted share three and one-half arourai of the royal land and the two and one-half arourai [of the Anthian estate], of which two arourai are in the Strategikon and [at the entrance the] two and one-half arourai of the Anthian estate, and half an aroura is in Tatnouei [adjoining the property of] Kastor, son of Phanomgeus, and one-half and one-quarter of an aroura are in the Geeina, and one-quarter of an aroura is in the Fifty held in common and undivided with Apion, son of [Phasis]. Psenobastis has received as his allotted share six and [one-eighth and one-sixteenth] and one-sixty-fourth arourai of royal land, of which [one and one-quarter arourai] are in the Hollow of the Cavalry, and three arourai are in the Fifty, and [one] aroura is close by the new dyke, [and] one-half and one-quarter and one-eighth and one-sixteenth and one-sixty-fourth arourai [are in Tatnouei]. [And they will pay the annual] rental and transportation charges and the other obligations and receive the seed corn of the arourai which [each has been allotted] and they will pay whatever further charges have been laid on the cultivation, both [equally]. The one who breaks the contract shall pay to the one who abides by it the damages and expenses two-fold and an additional fine of [one-hundred drachmai] of silver and a like amount into the treasury; and the aforesaid terms of the contract shall none the less remain valid as aforesaid.
(2nd hand) I, Pnepheros, son of Satabous, acknowledge that I have divided with [my brother Psenobastis] from the present time forever the cultivation of the nine and one-half and one-eighth and one-sixteenth [and one-sixty-fourth] arourai [of royal land which we cultivate near Patsontis] and of the two and one-half arourai of the Anthian estate, and that I have received as [my allotted share] three and one-half [arourai of royal land] and two and one-half arourai of the Anthian estate, [of which] two arourai are [in the Strategikon] and at the entrance the [two and one-half] arourai of the Anthian estate, one-half aroura [is in Tatnouei] bordering on the property of Kastor, son of Phanomgeus, one-half and one-quarter [arourai are in the Geeina], and one-quarter aroura is in the Fifty [held in common and undivided with] Apion, son of Phasis. And I shall pay the rental and transportation charges and the [other obligations and shall receive] the seed of the arourai allotted to me; and if any further charge is laid on the cultivation, I shall pay half the rent and other charges, as aforesaid.
