To Didas, laographos of the village of Mendes.
From Sisois, son of Orsenouphis, grandson of Sisois, whose mother is Tauris, daughter of Nemesas, resident of the village of Mendes. There belongs to me in the village a half share of a house and courtyard in which I reside, and I declare myself and my family for the house-by-house census of the past 9th year of Antoninus Caesar the lord; and I am Sisois, the above inscribed, 45 years old, without distinguishing mark, and my wife Tepheros, daughter of Mysthes, granddaughter of Papontos, whose mother is Tenaus, 36 years old, without distinguishing mark, and the children of us both: Sisois(?), . . years old, without distinguishing mark; Dioskoros, brother of the same, a twin, 14 years old, with a scar on the left shin; another Dioskoros, a twin, 14 years old, without distinguishing mark. Wherefore I present the declaration. 10th year of the Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrianus Antoninus Augustus Pius, Epeiph 29.
