Translation
Thonis, son of Phatres, grandson of Harthonis, of the city of the Oxyrhynchi(?), priest and pteraphoros and hierotekton(?) of Thoeris, of Isis, of Sarapis, of the temple of the [divine] Augustus Caesar and of the associated gods, and sealer of the sacred calves, has leased to Dionysios also called Capito, freedman of Ploution, son of Ophelion, from the same city, for a period of three years, from the first of Phaophi of the coming fourteenth year of Aurelius Antoninus Caesar our lord, of the camel-stable called . . . that he has in the quarter of the Hermaion, the seven arourai in the same farmstead(?), for a fowl-house, [with all their appurtenances]. The lessee will enter and exit these through the door located on the west of the northern part of the same camel-stable, and he will be permitted to make unhindered use of the well which is there. The rent will be [three] hundred silver [drachmai] annually, with an additional payment annually of [. .] full-grown laying hens, 4 full-grown cocks, [. . . eggs - - -] and, besides, for the slaves [- - -] the guard tax [and the tax on brickmaking fall upon] Theonis. [On the lease being guaranteed, the lessee] shall pay [- - -]
