- Hematite Pigment: A good red paint was made by rubbing and grinding hematite iron ore. Paint stones range from fingernail size to fist size. They were used from prehistoric times up until late Colonial times. Approximate age is from 1660 to 1675. Location - Dann Site, Honeoye Falls, New York. Dimensions are 2 cm. by 2 cm., 10 cm. by 5 cm.

- Graphite Pigment: Black paint was made from the mineral graphite. These paint stones also range in size from fingernail size to fist size. Graphite was available in the Appalachian mountain area. - Cinnabar Pigment: During mid and late Colonial times, the European fur traders brought in a bright red pigment made from the ore of mercury. - New York, Honeoye Falls. Dann Site. Wood and brass crucifix. A wooden crucifix with a brass corpus of Christ attached to it. The emblem I.R.N.I. (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews) is attached at the top of the cross but the skull and cross bones is missing at the base.

- New York, Honeoye Falls. Dann Site. Duck bill pendants. In mid-Colonial times, this very curious shell pendant had a short but popular reign. The pendant, called a duck bill resembles a duck or goose and is most likely to stylistic representation of the Canadian Wild Goose. They were perforated through the neck, having eyes and sometimes wings which were indicated by dots drilled in the shell and filled with black pigment. 1660-1675. 3.5cm by 1

The top knife being a straight edge pointed cutting tool with a rate tail handle, and the bottom knife being a curved edge carving edge with a high flat handle. Approximate age is from 1660 to 1675.
