Blue and white jar and cover (H.698). Lotus scroll in the middle and bands of trefoil and key fret on shoulder and neck. Border of straight bars near the base. Cover has a band of volutes. Base glazed. Rim of the mouth glazed, indicating that it had no cover, and this cover (H. 698a) may be from another jar. Late 15th century. Formerly Hester Collection.
