Serengeti Plains, Ngorongoro Crater. Hindquarters, then forequarters have been defleshed. At least 1 distal radio-ulna remains with flesh. Bone damage limited largely to distal ribs and vertebral processes. These are the typical remains of abandoned lion kills on this size carcass, although often head flesh is also gone (as in 18502).
