Bird On Perch Pewter Pipes: Pewter pipes having long stems, large straight sided bowls and having a perch or projection on the far side of the bowls. A large bird, hawk, or eagle is perched on this projection and faces the smoker. Approximate age is 1645 to 1660. Location- Power House Site, Lima, New York. Dimensions are 13.5 cm. by 3.5 cm.
